It is the newest Casino player on the Las Vegas Strip and the most expensive and complex casino hotel in the world. It consists of five individual buildings all suited for tourism, business and entertainment. A) Freemont Street is what’s referred to as “Old Vegas” because this is where the original Las Vegas Casino’s were born. Don’t go by the nickname though, because Freemont Street has been completely rebuilt and restored to become a competitive attraction of its own. Showcasing a block wide lightshow overhead between some of the most charming old style casinos

Q) When is the best time of year to visit Las Vegas?

A) Depending on your priorities, this is a different answer for different people. The best weather is arguably in the spring so April through June is very popular. Some people who prefer to beat the crowd will come November and December when it is tends to be slower. The many competing casinos of Las Vegas have made a science out of offering an escape in Sin City any time of year, so the best time to take off is whenever you can!

Q) What else is there to do besides gamble?
A)
Las Vegas was one of the first places in the US to establish legal gambling and has built an empire its winnings. Gambling is probably the single most effective tourist attraction, but it is certainly not the only thing in town to do.

Entertainment - Many different types of shows are plentiful on the boulevard. Las Vegas is one of those cities where big name artists appear as a matter of routine. Some of the best live concerts and stage performances in the world take over theatres on a nightly basis. Magic shows, Comedy, Exhibits and Hypnotists can all also be found scattered around the strip, there is no shortage of tickets to choose from!

Outdoor Travel - Do you want to see the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River? How about Hoover Dam or Red Rock? If you don’t want to spend whole day you can select your vehicle of choice to get there. Helicopter Rides, Boat Transportation, Jeep tours, are just a few ways to zip off to these exotic desert locales. Remember that Nevada borders, California, Arizona, and Utah, they are all within very drivable distances. Day trips are popular in the southwest and Las Vegas is centralized launch pad to any location! XS2Vegas can make all the arrangements with ease!

Trade Shows - Did you know that Las Vegas hosts some of the most elaborate and effective trade shows in the world? No one has a problem networking from a hotel suite. A gathering in Las Vegas always has a casual and entertaining feel to it, there is no better way to meet people of similar interest. Trade shows happen every day in Las Vegas, linking specific hobbies, businesses, and organizations together from all over the world.

Sports - Did you know that Las Vegas also has a very lively and unique world of sports behind all that gambling? Golf, Tennis, and Bowling are popular, but extremists may also like rock climbing, hiking, or Skydiving! If you like sports better from the sidelines, that’s not a problem because Vegas also has its share of spectator sports as well. The Las Vegas Wranglers play Minor League ice hockey inside The Orleans Arena, while the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels have very popular football and basketball games inside Sam Boyd Stadium and the Thomas & Mack Center!

 Q) What can I do together with my kids?
A) Children may not have the same options their parents do for fun in Las Vegas but here are a few recommendations.  Inside, New York, New York on the upper casino level, you’ll find a Coney Island replica full with new and old fashioned games for kids of all ages and adults too! It is a small venue with a carnival atmosphere but with ticketed prizes and food also, it isn’t difficult to spend a whole afternoon there.
Another great spot for children is the Adventure Dome at Circus Circus. This indoor adventure park is a surprisingly sizable escape from the casinos. With indoor roller coasters, virtual machines, arcade games and much more kids find themselves thoroughly lost in a fun world of their own. The arena like atmosphere inside Circus Circus is great for families as it was intended to be when they built it. Around every corner is an act of three ring charm with a side of fresh popcorn to go with it!
A third place also worth mentioning is the M & M factory neighboring the area of the MGM Grand. You don’t have to like chocolate to appreciate this tiny enclave of shopping and sweets. There are games and prizes to be won here too, but the best part is that children usually have a great time here taking silly pictures and enjoying the sweet company of the M & M world.

 Q) How much should I tip?
A
) Las Vegas is a city that loves cash. It’s everywhere moving in and out of people’s hands all the time. It may not seem like a big deal, but knowing when, how, and who to tip can be subtle way to drastically improve your trip. Also guys should know that women often pay close attention to what kind of tipper you are. In any flirting situation it’s not something you want to get wrong. First let me say, it’s true you don’t technically have to tip anyone but if are getting anything complimentary it’s only polite to pass on the savings in the form of a gratuity.

Basic Tipping Guidelines

Restaurants - 15% - 20% of the total bill is always an appropriate tip for satisfied service to wait staff or bartenders.

Strip Clubs
- The Exotic Dancers inside strip clubs should be tipped just about every time you get near one, so pace yourself and choose the dancers you really want to spend time with. Some aggressive girls might jump on your lap or seem to want to dance on you for free to get you interested, but remember there is no such thing as free inside a strip club. Remember it’s your vacation and your money so be polite but direct with all the girls that approach you and you’ll have a better time. If you aren’t interested in a private dance or ordering drinks with them, be clear up front and save yourself the grief of being expected to pay for something you didn’t want.

As for the girls you do want, private rooms and lap dances typically start at about twenty dollars a dance.  Main stage dancers will only expect a few dollars if you watch them but if you like extra attention they will accept fives tens and twenties graciously. The dancers inside have no shame about telling you what they expect at all times. Be warned, strip clubs are one of the most convenient places to burn through cash quickly, and odds are that most of that will money tip money.

Taxi Drivers - I don’t recommending tipping more than you have to these guys, they are typically single encounters with bad advice. For the money you’ll spend in a cab for an entire trip you’d be better off getting arranged transportation with XS2Vegas Other than that, 10% or 15% of the total cab fare will suffice as a generous tip.

Dealers - Why should you tip a dealer? Because no matter which game you are playing, the dealer is your best friend. The dealer can help make or break your decision making in tight spots and a friendly dealer will have no problem sharing their world of expert advice with you. The dealer isn’t the one out to get your money, but the casino is. It is always smart to tip the dealer especially after they help you win some extra money. The amount you should tip is completely relative to your winnings. They are always appreciative of any dollar amount.

Cocktail Servers / Complimentary Drinks - At least a dollar a drink, often tipping few dollars more will open up access to the better brands of liquor and much faster service.

Limo Service - In Las Vegas there are a variety of ways you might end up in a Limo ride. They are the classiest and most comfortable way to move around the strip. If you end up in a Limo to a club or to some other event, forty dollars is the standard tip the driver will expect, especially if you’re traveling in a group of five or more. Limo drivers are good to be friendly with because they can pick you up later if they are available.

Q) Which table games are the best?  How can I learn if I have never played before?

A) Table games are the real thing in Las Vegas. Nowhere else in the United States will you find such a colorful collection of real stakes card games. Not to mention, all the major casinos are powered by the most skilled dealers in the world. Table games are a major attraction in Las Vegas, whether it’s Poker, Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat, or any of the many others, some people come to Nevada strictly to enjoy the hospitable gambling culture. If you are a new or a novice at any game, there are free demonstrations and lessons given typically in the mornings at various casinos. Never be afraid to ask! There is no point of going into a game without knowing all the rules, and the casino knows they will never attract new players if they are intimidated to learn. The casinos want everyone to understand table games so they will often have lessons and demonstrations strictly for new players with toy money.

Q) Is prostitution legal?
A) Prostitution is illegal in Las Vegas. Outside of Clark County however, lighter prostitution laws allow for legalized brothels.

Q) Where do the locals like to hang out?
A) The truth is, the locals who work near or on the strip will avoid hanging out there whenever possible. No one likes to right around the corner from where there job is, especially in this small town, however, there are a few spots that locals will flock to for their quality of good times with sex appeal. When people ask where the locals go you can recommend some of these places.
Two of these local hotspots are on the far south end of the strip. If you drive past Mandalay Bay and continue south on Las Vegas Boulevard, you’ll find Stoney’s! This country bar is spread out and wide open inside with a colorful variety of people inside. This club has no limits on the type of music that might be playing, though it is a country bar with a bull riding machine to prove it, they will also have rock, hip hop, and whatever else it takes to please their diverse crowd. Locals tend to migrate here because it is a hip fun scene with a casual attitude. There is no dress code enforced and the drink prices are fair on the wallet.
Another hot spot in South Las Vegas is a very new collection of chic brand name stores and restaurants. The very centrally located Town Square, is a local favorite because of the wide variety of flavor and entertainment offered to the public. On a hot day you’ll find many children playing in the wet playgrounds. It’s a smart way to burn off the heat and maybe some of your children’s boundless energy too! Adults are found dining outdoors, window shopping, and meeting with other friends and family. Town square is cross between a park and a mall with many locals who stroll through regularly.
The Blue Martini has been quick to gain popularity because of it wide open layout, outdoor patio lounging, and unique cocktails. With it’s cool blue interior and trendy successful style, this destination has gone from being an unknown to a major destination in a city full of bars and clubs.
Just neighboring the Blue Martini is an even newer bar and lounge called Cadillac Ranch. The atmosphere here is a little a more of a country style with dark red lighting and lots of space for a dancing and dining. They are known for their outdoor fire pits with couches to lounge next to and on the weekends they fill a wide open dance floor with local talented live DJ’s.
