Las Vegas 'Inside Tips' - August

Inside Tip #1: Xs2vegas offers you an inside tour of Las Vegas Boulevard with stops at the most beautiful pools along the way. Why are we talking about pools? Because at an average high temperature of over 100 degrees, the only place to cool off and kick back is in a lounge chair at the hotel pool! Which pools are the best? Look no further than Monte Carlo! Or what about the Golden Nugget? We didn’t even talk about the pools at Encore, Wynn, or Aria yet! Don’t get caught in the heat, let Xs2vegas provide all the shade you need in your VIP Cabana at any pool you like!

Inside Tip #2: With the warm weather and pool parties,
Alexis Resort offers something unique to their hotel guests. With a large lush pool surrounding an island fountain, there is plenty of eye candy that gathers in this inviting locale. Neighboring the Hard Rock Hotel, this resort clings to a part of the city that is both eclectic and centralized even though it is off the strip. In the area of Harmon and Paradise, you’ll also find a very alternative bar scene, many people walking the streets and plenty of other colorful amenities that make a vacation in Vegas a Brand New experience! XS2Vegas can book you a room right in the middle of all the action.

Inside Tip #3:
With the extremely high heat, walking the strip in the daytime isn’t always a great idea. Why not wait until nighttime when the weather cools and the lights come on. During this time of year, every night is a summer night, that’s why you’ll find both tourists and locals out gambling until the sun come up! There is no better time to visit an outside venue like
Diablo’s Cantina, or Margaritaville. For those people who deny there are beaches in the desert, we present the illustrious Tao Beach, or the concert fueled Mandalay Beach, each with serious skin appeal and great music to encourage the wet vibes!

Las Vegas Insider Blog! : June

How Do We Get to Downtown
Las Vegas Exactly? (…and Why Should We Go?)
Freemont Street
and Downtown Las Vegas have built hefty reputations on the traditional casino atmosphere of the past. People who haven’t gone downtown recently often misconstrue it to be a dusty and obsolete row of “old casino’s,” but this simply isn’t the case. The entire downtown experience has been modernized without sacrificing the old style Vegas charm.

The 2010 version of Downtown Las Vegas has reflected a decades worth of repairs, renovations, new designs and new businesses. Not every single idea has flourished, and not every location took off, but downtown as a whole looks like it is actually in great shape, especially during the summer month of June. Live music, artwork, outdoor festivities and dancing fill the streets with smiling and curious faces every week.

If you haven’t been to Downtown Las Vegas lately I would recommend a full tour through the
Golden Nugget, where lush lounges like Rush and Gold Diggers, offer comfort that exceeds the norm. Juicy slots and lively tables adorn an open casino floor right beside the street. The spacious and beautiful pool area at the ‘Nugget compliments the entire hotel. It looks fresh and more inviting than many of the uptown pools. Attached is also a giant aquarium with exotic fish, sharks and luminescent life of all kinds swimming right beside the hotel guests! There’s also a slide that will whip you right through the center all of it, into a cool splash during these hot summer months!

Even
VIPs can find quite a bit of entertainment and style downtown. They often find that the feel to Downtown Vegas is much different than stuffiness of the uptown casinos. People are a loose, they can gamble longer and later, and it seems like a block party that never ends. Booking a room downtown is simple enough, but unless you plan on going downtown every night, you might be better off with a hotel more centralized to the strip.

Make sure to sign up for players club cards for additional discounts, freebies for gambling, and great deals of dining and drinks.

To Get Downtown - Google Map
1) Driving from Strip - Take I-15 N, to Exit 41A E. Charleston Blvd, Turn Left at south Bruce Street.
2) Or simply follow Las Vegas Boulevard North to its end for slower more scenic route through Downtown Las Vegas.
3) From 95 Exit Casino Center Blvd.
Remember that Parking in Downtown Las Vegas isn’t Free! This is all the more reason to have pre-arranged
Transportation for an easier, faster, and more fun cruise the heart of Las Vegas.
