Las Vegas 'Inside Tips' - September

Inside Tip #1: In September, the crowds of Las Vegas can enjoy great weather and great getaways. In most cities the pool season ends this time of year but not in Las Vegas! Many people prefer to travel here in September.  One reason is to visit all those sparkling Las Vegas pools during near perfect weather. At night it’s comfortable enough outside to dress however you like. Maybe your vacation calls for an outdoor party at Moon, VooDoo Lounge, or Tryst?

Inside Tip #2: If you’re new to
Las Vegas, there’s a whole host of people that you should not take advice from. These people include cab drivers, street promoters, and shady phone numbers. People get taken advantage of every day in Las Vegas because they are not prepared. International tourists are more likely to get lost in a place like Sin City, but there is a simple way to avoid all this. Using XS2Vegas as a hosting service will eliminate all hassles and save you the time of figuring out “what to do”. Planning ahead will prevent any dilemmas from ruining a great time, if not with XS2Vegas, than make sure to

Inside Tip #3:
When most people envision what Las Vegas is like, they picture gambling, glitz, and great times. People get stuck thinking about life on the strip and inside the casinos. The many gorgeous
Las Vegas hotels offer an amazing time, but there’s more to the city of Las Vegas than the most famous Boulevard in the world. With local outdoor adventures like Red Rock and Grand Canyon, beautiful Nevada can be appreciated in a whole new way. If your not an outdoors person then what about visiting a Museum? Las Vegas showcases several world famous museums. Some dedicated to the city, some dedicated to the mob, some dedicated to impersonating celebrities in wax. The point is there are many ways to tour Las Vegas without doing the obvious. Have XS2Vegas in your corner can offer a more complete enjoyment of the city on every visit!

Looking Ahead in Las Vegas
Can you really believe it’s already almost 2011! In a city like Las Vegas, you’re not supposed to notice the clock. People who visit here once in a while accept massive changes as normal. The ever changing face of the city is always part of the scene, but what about the next decade? What are some of the things that tourists can look forward to?
For some reason, December is a popular month to debut new hotels and casinos. Ever since “Bugsy” opened the flamingo in December of 1946, hotels have continued to debut their “soft opening” to the public during the slowest time of the year. The reason for this is because hotels will often times have a chance to start earning some money back on astronomical expenses before the beginning of the New Year. Opening during this time also gives a new property the chance to recognize and work out any kinks in the overall operation and make repairs where necessary.
The best example of this will be the Cosmopolitan Casino Hotel. Opening just adjacent to the world Class City Center, the beautifully designed Cosmopolitan will continue to brighten this area of the strip. The Cosmopolitan will feature about 3,000 hotel rooms, an 1,800 seat theatre, convention space, meeting space, and a gambling floor that will give all their neighbors strong competition. This corner will be considered the new heart of the strip with the powerful presence of a renovated Planet Hollywood, the still developing City Center, a brand new outdoor club by Sugar Factory outside Paris, and the debut of the brand new cosmopolitan. It seems as if both Harrah’s and The Palms have financial interest in returning to the Las Vegas Strip. If this trend continues, there could be even more development in this area.
Turning your attention away from the strip, you may notice something else significant happening in Nevada. With support of the Government and several local progressive organizations clean energy is slowly taking priority out here in the desert. Nevada and Arizona share Lake Mead and Lake Mojave but they also share a vast space of sundrenched desert where nobody lives. This land is ideal to become the “hub” of a new American Energy movement based mainly on feasible Solar Technology. In the future of Nevada, fancy hotels and great gaming may not be the only thing that tourists have to see. Just like the Hoover Dam there is great potential to turn natural resources into boundless, city sustaining energy for the entire southwest. This will not only provide safe clean energy, but it will also create a demand for skilled labor out in the desert. For those looking for “green collar” type work, Nevada may hold the key to the careers of the future!
